This was the second straight of decline in retail sales, amid decreases in sales of automotive fuel in specialized stores (-7%), food, beverages and tobacco (-8.8%), and non-food products (-0.2%).

On a monthly comparison basis, retail sales, however, went up 0.6%, rebounding from a 1.2% drop in June.
