"Over the past year, our company has significantly expanded its workforce by more than 1,200 people, providing a secure livelihood for more than 8,500 people," said Judit Tőzsér, head of corporate communications at Lidl Hungary.

"As a result of the wage increase exceeding inflation during the financial year 2022, we will spend more than HUF 52 billion on wage costs, thus supporting the domestic economy," she added.
