According to the foreign and trade minister, Tesla could achieve “serious economic successes” in Europe, and such big automakers decide on which country to build a plant in based on what markets they find important. Szijjártó added that Hungaryʼs ambassador in Washington had visited Teslaʼs U.S. plant in March, and the ambassador in the Netherlands had visited Teslaʼs base there in April.
