The transaction includes the acquisition of 100% of Estetra SRL and Neuralis SA as well as some asset of Mithra R&D, Richter said.
The enterprise value implied by the transaction is EUR 175 mln, including assumed net debt, it added.
The transaction aims to acquire exclusive rights of Estetrol, a unique, native estrogen developed by Mithra, for multiple indications and several synthetic approaches, as well as worldwide rights attached to the linked product and product candidates.
"Acquiring Estetrol represents an outstanding strategic opportunity for Richter in one of its core therapeutic areas," said CEO Gábor Orbán.
