Public transportation discounts will remain in place for old-age pensioners and children under 6, state secretary for infrastructure Pál Völner told commercial television channel Hír TV, daily Magyar Nemzet reported on Saturday.
Talks are still underway on transportation discounts for other groups, such as youth under the age of 26, the paper said.
