Tamási-Hús said it had plowed a little more than HUF 14 bln into three investments undertaken since 2018, boosting its sliced bacon capacity by 120% and its fried bacon capacity by 100%.
Total government support for the investments came close to HUF 3.6 bln.
Tamási-Hús, a unit of Austria's Gierlinger group, had net sales revenue of HUF 23.9 bln last year, including HUF 13.9 bln from exports.
