The new factory will be completed in August this year and will enable the company to produce flat and corrugated concrete tiles in different colors, with different surfaces and higher capacities. Trial production is already underway on the production line, which has arrived from Sweden.
"Leier concrete tiles can be used for both renovation and new construction. They will be available in all Hungarian building material retailers from autumn as part of a launch promotion," said Andor Komlós, the company's managing director.
According to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal, only natural raw materials are used in the production process, meaning that the concrete tiles are fully recyclable.
Leier Hungária is a family-owned company, founded 37 years ago. It currently has nine building materials production plants and more than 1,000 employees. The recently announced investments will create a further 20 jobs.
