It was the seventh month of contraction.

Output shrank less for electricity & gas (-5.7% vs -11.9% in May) and manufacturing (-4.7% vs -7.8%), notably motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (-0.7% vs -6%); wood and products of wood & cork, except furniture (-7% vs -13.7%) and other non-metallic mineral products (-10.4% vs -18%).

On the other hand, production continued to plunge for mining (-14.7% vs -8%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose by 0.6% in June, following an upwardly revised 1.2% decrease in May.
