Domestic output prices fell 0.5% from the previous month, while export, or non-domestic, output prices slipped 1.0%. Compared with August 2024, domestic prices rose 0.9% and non-domestic prices climbed 3.0%.
By sector, domestic manufacturing prices, which carry a weight of 62.7% in the index, rose 1.9% year-on-year, while energy industry prices, with a 35.4% weight, dropped 1.1%. Output prices in the food industry increased by 6.8%.
Among industrial end-use groups, energy and intermediate producer branches together saw prices fall by 0.5% compared with a year earlier. Prices for capital goods producers rose 2.2%, while consumer goods producers recorded a 5.7% increase.
Non-domestic output prices showed mixed trends: manufacturing, accounting for 91.8% of exports, saw a 2.4% rise, while the energy industry, representing 8.0%, posted a 3.8% decline.
For the first eight months of 2025, domestic output prices were 3.7% higher and non-domestic output prices increased by 7.7% compared to the same period of 2024. Overall industrial producer prices rose 6.4% in January–August.
