Manufacturing output surged 29.2% yearly in May. Meanwhile, mining and quarrying output decreased 0.3%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning declined 2.2%.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 3.6% in May. Industrial new orders increased 46.5% year-on-year in May.
Construction output rose a working-day adjusted 5.8% annually in May. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the construction output increased 3.0% monthly in May.
