Bosnia industrial output up 10.7% in 2021

Bosnia and Herzegovina's industrial production increased by 10.7% last year, after a decline by 6.2% in 2020, data from the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS) show.

Last year, industrial output rose 12.5% in the manufacturing sector and by 11.7% in utilities sector, but dropped 4.4% in the mining sector, the agency said, citing preliminary working-day adjusted figures.

In December alone, Bosnia's industrial production increased by 7.2% year-on-year, following a 6.7% gain in November.

On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, industrial production rose 2% in December, following an increase of 0.4% in November.
