Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said the government supported the addition of 20,000 sqm of production area at the base with a HUF 3.4 bln grant.
The investment will preserve "several thousand" jobs in the region, he added. Bosch Power Tool will make batteries at the base for tools and electric bicycles made by other Bosch group members, shortening supply chains, he said.
