IT company Synergon Rt has won a Ft 77 million contract to supply T-Kábel Hungary, Magyar Telekom’s cable TV unit, with fiber optic network equipment, Synergon announced on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT) on Wednesday. T-Kábel will use the equipment to improve its nation-wide fiber optic internet network. Synergon will supply equipment made by US-based Harmonic and Synergon’s copper and fiber optic cable unit Fibex.
