The chamber said most of the project costs of the portal, which was created through a significant investment, included the acquisition of hardware and software licences, while the smaller portion included customized software developments, MTI reported.

The new home page, which is expected to be used by approximately 360,000 users, was financed in part with European Union funding, MTI reported.

Opposition party Democratic Coalition (DK) said it would file a report regarding the website, as they claim the chamber spent HUF 471 million on the development. DK claims professionals asked by the party said that the maximum cost for such a website would be approximately HUF 10-20 mln.
