Allen & Overy has been ranked top firm for international associate satisfaction in American Lawyer magazine’s midlevel associate survey. The law firm jumped nearly 20 places from last year’s US national tables, climbing to 25 out of 164 firms surveyed. In New York it came seventh out of 88 firms.

Allen & Overy says its New York office has had a highly successful year, growing by 22% to 143 attorneys. This is expected to rise even further over the next year. The survey saw associates rating their firms in areas such as their relationships with partners, training and mentoring, the work they are given, compensation and benefits, advancement opportunities and the likelihood they will stay for two more years. As well as the US domestic market, the survey also looked at the opinions of US lawyers based in London.

Michael Feldberg, co-managing partner of the New York office, said: „We provide our associates at all levels with access to sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional work. „Couple this with opportunities abroad and you have a firm very much committed to the individual career goals and workplace satisfaction of talented associates.” (crippssears)
