Duties on vehicles manufactured in 1996 or later will rise by 6%, but the increase on cars older than ten years will be 60%. Fees on hybrid cars and motorbikes will remain the same.
The minimum registration fee on cars will be Ft 250,000, which may go anything up to Ft 10 million depending on the age and size of the car. The registration fee on a car with a 3-liter engine and older than ten years will be Ft 9.6 million. (Világgazdaság)
