Revenue fell 6% to HUF 40.7 bln, but the bottom line was lifted by the sale of two pieces of real estate that generated HUF 7.9 bln, Rába said.

Excluding that one-off, group-level losses would have reached HUF 0.7 bln at the operating level because of a cyclically weak Q3 exacerbated by shutdowns at customers, it added.

Rába pointed to positive signs in smaller product and geographical segments that could suggest the decline in demand was slowing, but said general trends could not yet be identified and future outlooks were “unpredictable”.
