Sales volume of petrol fell but rose for diesel in Hungary in the first half compared to the same period a year earlier, data from the Hungarian Petroleum Association (MASz) show.
Sales volume of petrol fell 6% to 614.9 million liters. Sales volume of diesel edged up 1.5% to 756 million liters.
Total vehicle fuel sales were down 2.1% in the first half. MASz members account for about 85% of Hungary’s retail vehicle fuel market.
