Material costs were down at EUR 3.848 bln from EUR 4.705 bln, news wire MTI wrote citing the report.
Personnel costs edged up to EUR 145.6 mln from EUR 143.9 mln.
Operating profit was down at EUR 75.8 mln from EUR 98.4 mln.
After-tax profit dropped to EUR 57.6 mln from EUR 95.7 mln.
The Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét produced 146,000 vehicles last year, Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary managing director Jens Bühler said in the report.
The company is investing over EUR 1 bln in the expansion of its Hungarian site. The expansion will increase the plant’s production area to around 400 hectares.
