Output rose by an unadjusted 13.7% year-on-year in January. In December, industrial output rose by a seasonally and workday-adjusted 1% in a month and rose 12.9% year-on-year according to workday-adjusted figures. Hungary’s industrial output rose 7.3% last year and was up 8.3% in 2004 after a 6.4% increase in 2003. KSH will publish revised and detailed figures for the January industrial output on March 16.
