The 20,000 square meter Székesfehérvár unit, the company’s third in Hungary, will make sewage pumps and will employ 350 workers. The plant in Tatabánya, which will start manufacturing diving pumps and will increase production of linear, norm and block pumps, will also hire more than 300 workers, Grundfos said.
With the current investment, Grundfos will complete the relocation of its entire pump and engine production to Hungary, which began in 2000.
