Hungary’s industrial output growth accelerated to 14.3% according to both unadjusted and workday-adjusted figures in the twelve months to February, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said in a first reading on Thursday.
February output was up a seasonally- and workday-adjusted 0.9% from January. The increase followed a sharp 15.3% monthly rise in January.
2010 output was up 10.5% from a year earlier after a decline of 17.8% in 2009 and no change in 2008.
KSH will publish a second reading of February output figures as well as domestic and export sales figures on April 14.
