Net interest income climbed 41% to EUR 223 mln and net revenue from commissions and fees rose 18% to EUR 143 mln, state news wire MTI wrote.
Erste Bank Hungary paid EUR 60 mln in bank levies, including a windfall profit tax of EUR 36 mln.
It paid EUR 37 mln on a financial transactions duty.
Erste Bank Hungary had total assets of EUR 12.725 bln at the end of March, down 4% from 12 months earlier.
Client loans fell 5% to EUR 4.629 bln. Stock of client deposits dropped 8% to EUR 8.017 bln.
