The number of landlines connections per 100 people decreased to 33.69 in June from the 33.76 the NHH reported in May. According to figures from Hungary’s five “significant market powers”, Emitel Zrt, Hungarotel Zrt, Magyar Telekom Nyrt, Monortel Zrt and Invitel Zrt, combined with data from four new providers and four cable companies, the ratio of landline telephones in Hungarian households dropped this June to 67.30% from 67.46% in May.
The number of ADSL lines went up to over 485,000 from 467,000 in the previous month, which is a 3.94% increase, the NHH said.
