Nights spent by domestic guests were up 2.6% in January-March. Altogether, guests spent 3% more nights in the surveyed period. Guest nights were up 4% in January year-on-year, down 0.6% in February and down 9.2% in March.
Three-month revenue from accommodation was Ft 37.5 billion (€144.2 million), up 5% from January-March 2005. The rise was 9.9% in January and 2.3% in February year-on-year.
Nearly half of commercial accommodation revenue was generated by accommodation charges, and the rest from catering and other services.
