“Kazakhstan is interested to join Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline project”, the Minister said at a press conference in Baku. “The preliminary agreement provides for inclusion of Kazakhstan in the segment of the project controlled by Greece and Bulgaria, which accounts for 49% of the total operations”, he added. Russia has control over the remaining 51%. Russia, Greece and Bulgaria signed the agreement two weeks ago, and the construction works are scheduled to begin in 2008. (mrt.com.mk)
