Hog stock has been under 3 million since June 2012 compared to more than 5 million ten years earlier, KSH noted. Stock of cattle rose 59,000 from a year earlier to 753,000. But the stock was down 17,000 (2%) compared to December 2002, KSH said. Poultry stock declined 2.8 million (8%) to 30 million in the twelve months to December 1. Stock of geese dropped 105,000 (9%) to 1.1 million. Duck stock fell about 194,000 (4%) to 4.2 million. And the stock of turkeys was down 200,000 (7%) at 2.8 million. There were 76,000 horses in Hungary on December 1, up 2,000 from a year earlier.
