Guinness 0.0 marks a new addition to Borsodi Brewery’s growing range of non-alcoholic beers, albeit with limited availability for now.
Speaking about the launch, György Spiegel, Borsodi Brewery’s marketing director, said, “Guinness 0.0 is the perfect choice for those who don’t want to compromise on taste but still crave the authentic Guinness experience without consuming alcohol. We are constantly working to expand our portfolio to meet consumer needs, and with the rising popularity of non-alcoholic beers, we believe this is the perfect time for Hungarian beer lovers to try another specialty.”
The non-alcoholic stout is brewed in Dublin’s iconic St. James’s Gate Brewery using natural ingredients: water, barley, hops, and yeast. The alcohol is carefully removed through a cold filtration process, ensuring the beer is not exposed to heat, which could alter its flavor.
The result is a stout that retains the hallmarks of Guinness, with a lower calorie count (16 kcal per 100 ml) and zero alcohol.
Guinness 0.0 features a distinctiver dark color, a creamy head, and a flavor profile that blends notes of chocolate and coffee with roasted, bitter, and sweet undertones.
Starting in November, Guinness 0.0 will be available in canned format nationwide, exclusively at Interspar stores and through Spar’s online platform, while supplies last.
