The Parliament’s go-ahead, which is the last step before tenders can be invited, will probably come out before the summer break, and tenders might be announced a couple of days after that. The government’s aim is to introduce a toll system proportionate with road usage, using electronic means for paying for all 12-ton and heavier trucks, by the beginning of 2009 at latest. In line with these plans, the government will sign a contract before the end of this year.
