Electricite de France Internationale (EDFI) raised its stake in Démász from 60.91% to 95.06% in a public-purchase offer that ended on November 13. EDFI offered Ft 20,000 (€77.38) per share for the Démász stock, calculating to a total purchase price of Ft 25.3 billion. EDFI announced on November 28 that it would exercise purchase rights over those shares of electricity company Démász which it did not acquire during the public offer. Démász stock has been traded on the BÉT since 1998 as an A-category share. (Mti-Eco)
