From Nov. 20–22, the picturesque village in the Tokaj wine region will welcome guests to the Rakonczai Exclusive Advent Weekend, an intimate three-day experience featuring live music, fine wine, sparkling wine, and gastronomy. Hosted in the distinctive setting of Tokaj Art Wine, the weekend promises a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, with musician Imre Rakonczai and wine professional László Bálint as special guests.

Music is at the heart of the weekend. On Saturday evening, Rakonczai will perform an exclusive cellar concert, surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the Tokaj wine region. A festive gala dinner will follow, pairing a carefully curated gastronomic experience with the region’s exceptional wines.

Guests can join a premium gin tasting and workshop, explore the world of craft spirits, and enjoy an exclusive look behind the scenes of the Eat Art Cooking School. Sunday morning brings another special moment, as Rakonczai joins the cooking program himself to prepare one of his favorite desserts: a pistachio take on the classic Hungarian Somlói sponge cake.

Sparkling wine naturally has its place in the celebration, too. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Rakonczai’s  own sparkling wine, bringing an extra touch of personality to the weekend and offering the chance to take a taste of the experience home.

What makes the event truly distinctive, however, is its setting. Tállya’s historic character, the wines of Tokaj-Hegyalja, and Tokaj Art Wine’s contemporary approach to art, culture and hospitality come together to create an atmosphere that feels far removed from a conventional Advent program.

Guests can choose between several options. The full weekend package includes two nights’ accommodation, full board and access to the complete program, while individual tickets are also available for selected events. This lets you join the experience for a single evening or a particular program without committing to the entire weekend.

This November, Tállya will be more than a destination; it will be an atmosphere. The Rakonczai Exclusive Advent Weekend is for those looking to celebrate the festive season a little differently. Think long dinners around a shared table, sparkling wine in your glass, Tokaj wines, live music, and good conversation; the simple pleasures that make the beginning of the Christmas season truly special.

The number of places is limited to preserve the event’s intimate character. Guests who pay for their chosen package by Sep. 30 will also receive a 10% early-bird discount.
