Organizers noted that less than 5% of the festival’s passes are available at the moment and based on current sales, organizers expect all passes to sell out by the end of June.
Based on passes and tickets already sold, visitors will be arriving at Sziget from 98 countries.
The Main Stage will host The Chemical Brothers, Rihanna, Manu Chao La Ventura, Muse, David Guetta, SIA, Hardwell, Die Antwoord, Jake Bugg, Bastille, John Newman, Sigur Rós, Tinie Tempah, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs, Noel Gallagherʼs High Flying Birds, The Lumineers, The Last Shadow Puppets and more.
The OTP Bank A38 stage will feature MØ, Travis Scott, Kovacs, Editors, Unkle, Kodaline, Róisín Murphy, Boy, Bloc Party, Tourist, The Neighborhood, CHVRCHES, M83, Fidlar, Jess Gylnne and Crystal Castles.
The electronic party scene will move this year to the Telekom Arena where Afrojack, Vinai, Dyro, Fedde Le Grand, DVBBS, Zedd, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke and more will entertain visitors.
More than ten other stages will host music acts of various genres while upwards of 40 other program venues will feature art, theater and other cultural activities.
“If passes continue to sell this well, they will be sold out by the end of June,” said Károly Gerendai, founder of Sziget Festival. “After that time, only day tickets will be available and those are also selling at record speed. Our previous experience was that day tickets were bought on-the-spot, but now more than 40% of day tickets are sold in advance,” he added.
