Hungary’s issue of $3.75 billion of bonds on Thursday attracted offers of $13 billion, said National Economy Ministry state secretary András Kármán, who also serves as chairman of the Government Debt Management Centre (AKK).

The issue was a record in terms of its size, the strong demand and the terms of the papers, not just for Hungary but for the Central European region, Kárman added.
