The funding for the performing arts tickets will be made available to all pupils in grades one to eight “regardless of social situation or place of residence.”
Additionally, the funding may be used for visits to farms or zoos that display native Hungarian domesticated animals.
The resolution acknowledges that “Hungaryʼs thousand-year-old culture is a value of fundamental importance to the enculturation, self-expression and national identity of todayʼs citizens and future generations, as well as the cultural preservation of Hungary, therefore its fulfillment is a priority responsibility of the state.”
