Four glove makers in Pécs, a city well-known for the craft for centuries, have been awarded the “Hungarian Brand” trademark, Magyar Termék Nonprofit Kft founder Ferenc Bodrogai said on Tuesday.
Companies awarded the trademark must have a tradition in Hungary and 51% of the added value of their products must be Hungarian, Bodrogai said.
Magyar Termék Nonprofit managing director Attila Kecskeméti said 26 companies with combined annual turnover of HUF 100 billion have been awarded the trademark so far.
