Hungary’s national land fund NFA will call tenders in the autumn for the use of 65,000 hectares of farm land, Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas announced.
A recently completed audit of state-owned farmland in Hungary shows about 100,00 hectares — 5% of the 2 million hectares of state-owned farmland — was not registered, Econews reported earlier.
