The awards, which are organized by International Financial Law Review (IFLR), were created to recognize the most innovative law firms and deals in Europe, the press release said.
Dentons received the award for its substantial investments in Hungary, in large part through its hiring of more than 30 lawyers from White & Case’s Budapest office, but also for the projects its Hungarian team has been working on for the past 12 months, Dentons said in the press release.
“Our success as ‘Law Firm of the Year’ demonstrates the quality of the expanded and enriched team in our Budapest office, the strength of our capabilities under the firmʼs polycentric model, and our ability to work together on major cross-border transactions,” said István Réczicza, Managing Partner at Dentons in Hungary.
