PwC interviewed 120 managers from its own clientele, and found that 60% was planning investments, mostly in excess of Ft 100 million. Most of these investments involve relocating a specific company function to Hungary, and, though large in value, will likely not create a large amount of jobs, PwC said.
Surprisingly, most companies reported a negative impact when asked about the effects of Hungary’s EU accession, citing growing competition and increased administrative burdens.
