mainly due to an increase in domestic output (5.8% vs 3%), boosted by engineering works (27.8% vs 25.6%) and new construction (9.2% vs 9.1%). Moreover, domestic output declined less for buildings (-5% vs -6.7%) and repair & maintenance (-0.6% vs -9.8%).
Meanwhile, construction abroad further slipped (-18.7% vs -4.4%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction activity in July was 2.5% higher than in June.
