Chairman-CEO Barnabás Balczó said Magyar Posta would add another 150 parcel lockers to its nationwide network next year.

Magyar Posta's share of the parcel locker market stands at 35% at present, he added.

Magyar Posta also opened its 100th "partner" point in the village of Csököly (205 km southeast of Budapest) this week. Magyar Posta has signed contracts with 210 partners in the new scheme to bring postal services to the country's smallest settlements.

About two-thirds of the partners are local councils, and the rest are local businesses. Magyar Posta's partners are eligible for job creation grants that pay a monthly HUF 125,000 per employee over half a year.
