The restructuring of schools, which follows a German model, is aimed at giving professional qualifications to the increasing number of people needed in production, the minister said. He added that the Hungarian government’s aim is to increase the number of organizations involved in vocational training from the current 8,000 to 20,000 and the number of students participating in the so-called “dual education” system from 50,000 to 70,000 in the medium term, he said.
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó told the forum that the government is committed to further strengthening what are already excellent economic relations with Germany. He added that the government wants to maintain regular cooperation with the German side in making decisions that may affect the operation of German businesses here.
