The goods deficit widened markedly to EUR 334.0 million from EUR 57.2 million a year earlier; and the service surplus shrank to EUR 179.2 million from EUR 198.3 million.
Meanwhile, the primary income shortfall narrowed significantly to EUR 50.7 million from EUR 170.6 million, and the secondary income surplus increased sharply to EUR 106.5 million from EUR 32.2 million.
