The average consumer prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 21.3%, while cost for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels went increased 13.4%.
Prices for transport surged 28.7%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the prices in the Federation grew by 3% in April, after rising at the same pace in March.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
