Elsewhere in the district, operators in multi-unit residential buildings would need the consent of co-owners, the council said in a post on social media.

As the BBJ reported earlier, the proposal has been released for public consultation following a vote by local residents in September.

In that vote, 58.6% supported a complete ban on Airbnb-type accommodation. Among residents of the Buda Castle area, two-thirds favored a full ban.

Residents have 15 days to comment on the draft decree. The district council expects to make a final decision in November.
