Hungarian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFH)

■ The CCIFH opened the new business season in style with its highly successful French Riviera Cruise, bringing together the Franco-Hungarian business community and its partners for an unforgettable evening on the Danube. French Ambassador to Hungary Jonathan Lacôte and CCIFH president Balázs Gáspár officially opened the evening, welcoming guests before the cruise set off through the heart of Budapest. Bathed in warm September sunshine and crowned by a spectacular sunset, the evening offered the perfect blend of business, networking and French art de vivre. Guests enjoyed French live music with DJ and saxophone, signature cocktails, fine wines, gourmet finger food and a playful Magazine Cover photo experience, all in a relaxed French Riviera atmosphere.

■ The CCIFH invites the business community to its next DealFlow, a structured B2B networking event designed to connect new member companies with potential clients, partners and suppliers. The event will open with two Executive Insights: Randstad Hungary will address employment challenges facing French companies, while Code Intelligence will present an economic footprint analysis revealing the value CCIFH member companies generate for the Hungarian economy. New members will then introduce their businesses in concise one-minute pitches, followed by the core of the DealFlow format: Speed Business Meetings. Based on a pre-arranged meeting schedule, participants will meet new members face-to-face in a series of short, focused B2B conversations to identify potential business synergies and cooperation opportunities. The afternoon will conclude with an informal after-work cocktail and open networking.

• Where: Randstad Budapest, Green Court Office, Dózsa György út 146–148, 1134 Budapest • When: Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, 4–7 p.m.

■ Looking for new business partners, clients, or opportunities across Europe without leaving your office? At the end of October, e-B2B Europe #4 will bring together companies from across Europe for a morning of targeted online business meetings. Organized jointly by 21 French chambers of commerce and industry in Europe, the event gives participants access to a broad European business network and the opportunity to schedule up to nine pre-arranged 20-minute B2B meetings with companies matching their business interests. The format has already proven its effectiveness: the first edition of e-B2B Europe brought together 342 participants and generated more than 480 business meetings in a single morning. Participants can browse company profiles in advance, identify the companies they would like to meet, and send or receive meeting requests, making the event a highly efficient way to explore new markets and identify potential clients, suppliers, and business partners.
