Across Central and Eastern Europe, Fresh Corner sold 66 million cups of coffee this year, including 12.4 million in Hungary alone, the highest annual figure the company has ever recorded. Hot dog sales also reached a new peak, totaling 45.5 million units regionally and 11.5 million domestically, marking another milestone for the brand.
The growth is notable even compared with last year’s already strong performance. In 2024, MOL sold 65 million cups of coffee and 43 million hot dogs across the region. Consumption increased further on all fronts in 2025, underscoring the continued popularity of Fresh Corner among travelers.
“It is a huge source of pride for us that in the 10th anniversary year of Fresh Corner we broke all previous hot dog and coffee records. These results not only reflect the trust of our customers, but also show that we are on the right track: MOL’s strategy is working, and we continue to build on the needs of travelers. Together with our guests, we made this jubilee year truly memorable,” said Péter Ratatics, executive vice president of consumer services at the MOL Group.
He added that the record year was also supported by Fresh Corner’s expansion into a new area during its anniversary year, serving rail passengers for the first time. “Ten years after the launch of Fresh Corner, we felt it was time for another major step to elevate the consumer experience to a new level and go beyond an exclusive focus on motorists. As a result, we entered into cooperation with MÁV with the aim of also serving the railway audience,” Ratatics said.
Fresh Corner, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025, has become one of the region’s most popular players in on-the-go gastronomy and remains a key pillar of MOL’s consumer services strategy.
