The subsidies could help 600-800 companies without websites or an online presence to access modern digital solutions implemented by professional service providers, the ministry said.

Applicants can receive HUF 400,000 to HUF 2 million of subsidies to cover approximately 100% of their costs.

In the first round of the scheme some 8,000 SMEs submitted applications, 6,000 received funding, and 3,000 have already started implementing their web developments, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
