Automotive production, the country’s largest manufacturing segment, dropped 5.7% y.o.y., accounting for 25% of total manufacturing output.

The computer, electronics and optical equipment segment, responsible for 14%, grew 16.4%, driven by higher output of computers and peripherals.

Electrical equipment production, making up 9%, declined 4.5%, while the food, drinks and tobacco segment, also contributing 14%, dipped 1.6%.

Compared to the previous month, seasonally and workday-adjusted output rose 0.5%. Between January and October, industrial output fell 3.3% y.o.y.
