According to a report by MTI, 4iG will acquire a 45% holding of Mobil Adat from each of Mobil Adat Holding and Shoal Vagyonkezelő.
With the acquisition, 4iG aims to expand its digital services with strategic IoT/M2M and telecom competences, with special regard to the data communication of e-tills, e-chargers and smart meters, and to strengthen the synergies between the IT and telecom services of Mobil Adat and the 4iG Group.
After the closing of the transaction and the integration of the managed data transmission services, the 4iG Group will be able to provide comprehensive IoT solutions from sensors to the data center, covering the full value chain of the digital infrastructure.
The 4iG Group will further strengthen its strategic endeavor to become a key IoT and data communication service provider in Hungary and the region. The closing of the transaction is subject to approval from Hungary’s competition authority GVH.
