Confirmed speakers include Márton Nagy, Hungary’s Minister for National Economy; Shen Feng, executive vice president of China’s CATL; István Joó, government commissioner and CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (Hipa); Olaf Rogge, business development manager for recycling at BASF Battery Materials; Chris Heron, secretary general of E-Mobility Europe; Péter Kaderják, managing director of the Hungarian Battery Association; Johannes Jung, e-mobility lead at Germany’s Grob-Werke GmbH & Co. KG; Patrick Clerens, secretary general of the European Association for Storage of Energy (Ease); Fabrice Stassin, secretary general of the Batteries European Partnership Association (Bepa); and Viktor Horváth, Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Energy.
The conference will focus on the EU Clean Industrial Deal and changes in European regulation, including the EU battery passport. Other key topics include the growth of Hungary’s battery value chain, innovation and technology development, raw material supply and recycling, the network impacts of e-mobility, and the future of the energy storage market.
